WORLD CUP
USA 2 - 2 Slovenia
HOT DAMN!!!
The US came back to score two goals thanks to Landon Donovan bullet in the top of the goal from almost the goal line, and a late equalizer from Michael Bradley, son of the head coach of the Americans. Two goals, including a super strike from beyond the 18 that left Tim Howard glued to the turf, before half time left virtually no hope for the Americans beginning the second half. A third goal was almost scored for the USA off a free kick, but was retracted due to the referree's whistle on the claim of a foul on the US in the box. After review, the foul, if there was any, could actually have been on the Slovenians, for dragging Altidore down, in which case there would have been a penalty kick. Although they were shafted, I'm sure the US is happy about the tie, but they'll desperately need a win against Algeria, and hope for a mathematical miracle in their group standings.
